OUR PRODUCTS

Horizons Imaging Systems Group is a manufacturer of identification substrates known for quality and durability.

TRUSTED WHERE PERMANENT IDENTIFICATION IS CRITICAL.

For over 50 years, industrial and military engineers have specified Metalphoto photosensitive anodized aluminum for durable nameplates, barcode labels, service schematics and control panels installed in harsh operating environments. Metalphoto’s proprietary technology permanently seals a UV-stable image inside of anodized aluminum, offering the confidence of unparalleled durability, image resolution and readability. OUTDOOR DURABLE CO2 LASER MARKABLE ALUMINUM.

DuraBlack is CO2 laser markable aluminum for durable, on-demand marking for harsh operating environments. In side-by-side tests, DuraBlack outperforms black anodized aluminum and laser markable acrylic tape in select applications. DuraBlack is resistant to sunlight (UV-radiation), abrasion, high-temperatures, salt-spray and chemical exposure. Because of its ability to perform across a range of challenging environments, DuraBlack meets several government, industrial and military specifications including MIL-STD 130N, A-A-50271 (≈MIL-P-514D) and MIL-STD-15024F, Type L.

Composed of a multi-level coating on anodized aluminum, DuraBlack can be attached to either curved or flat surfaces with adhesive, rivets or screws. It is imaged with any CO₂ marking laser to produce a durable, high-resolution barcode or human-readable image.

PHOTO QUALITY IMAGES ON REAL METAL WITH ANY CO2 LASER.

AlumaMark is specialized aluminum that can be marked with any CO2 laser. Unlike other laser markable products, AlumaMark is not etched or engraved, but is actually imaged by the heat of the CO2 laser. The result is photographic quality images, including halftones, on real aluminum that differentiates one from the competition.

AlumaMark allows one to create black, positive marks on silver, gold, bronze, brass or colored backgrounds. Designed so that it may be marked using low power settings, AlumaMark is used to produce Nameplates, Name Badges, Plaque and Trophy Plates, Labels, Interior Signage and more.

COLORED PHOTOPOLYMER RESIST COATED ALUMINUM AND POLYESTER.

ID-MARK sheets are photopolymer resist coated sheets of aluminum and polyester. The resist cures when exposed to UV and rinses away with simple tap water in the unexposed areas, leaving behind spot color graphic images, allowing users to create high-quality, durable, custom images in less than five minutes. All types of identification products can easily be created economically, from prototypes and one-of-a-kind projects to short run production requirements. Create your own products with just an ultraviolet exposure device and water!

ID-MARK is used to produce a variety of identification and recognition products including signs, labels, awards, plaques, nameplates and more.
